Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms govern the relationship between Lanolin Beauty ("we", "the Company") and you ("you", "member") in your use of the GIWOON service.

2. Definitions

• Member — a person who has accepted these Terms and created an account
• Giwoon — in-app currency used for readings and conversations. 1 Giwoon = 4 Seasons
• Paid Giwoon — Giwoon you purchased
• Free Giwoon — Giwoon we granted at no charge (sign-up reward, check-in, ads, events)
• Subscription — a recurring paid plan with defined benefits
• Codex — the collection of cards you gather

3. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms within the limits of applicable law. We announce changes in the app at least 7 days in advance, and at least 30 days in advance for changes unfavourable to you. If you continue to use the service after notice without objecting, you are taken to have accepted the change. If you do not accept it, you may delete your account at any time.

4. Accounts

• You must be 14 or older to create an account
• Sign-up collects the birth date, calendar type, birth time, and sex required to compute your chart
• Registering with another person's information, or creating multiple accounts to repeatedly claim rewards, is prohibited

5. The service

• Saju chart calculation and readings
• Conversations with the Master and with Codex figures
• Card collection
• Giwoon purchases and subscriptions

We may improve or change the service; material changes are announced in advance.

6. Giwoon

• Giwoon is usable only within the service. It cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another account, or resold
• When you spend, free Giwoon is deducted first
• Paid Giwoon does not expire. It remains usable for as long as your account exists
• Free Giwoon may expire after the period stated when it was granted
• If you delete your account, any remaining Giwoon is forfeited and cannot be restored

7. Subscriptions

• Subscriptions renew for the stated period
• If you cancel, you keep access until the period you already paid for ends. It does not renew after that
• If the price changes we tell you before the next renewal; you may cancel if you do not accept it

8. Refunds

• Within 7 days of purchase and with no Giwoon spent — full refund
• If you have spent part of it — because this is digital content, the used portion is not refundable. We refund the purchase price less the value of what was used
• Subscriptions — we refund the unused remainder of the period on a pro-rata basis, less the value of any subscription Giwoon you spent during it
• If the fault is ours (outage, misgrant), we refund in full without the limits above

Write to giwoon.com@gmail.com and we process refunds within 3 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional days to post the funds.

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are handled under those stores' refund policies.

9. Your obligations

You may not:

• create multiple accounts to claim rewards repeatedly
• access the service by automated means or send abnormal volumes of requests
• copy, distribute, or sell the service's content (card stories, readings) without permission
• use another member's account or impersonate someone
• interfere with the normal operation of the service

10. Suspension

If you breach section 9 we may restrict use or suspend the account after notice; in urgent cases we may act first and notify afterwards. Giwoon or cards obtained improperly may be reclaimed. You may object, and where the objection is well founded we reverse the measure promptly.

11. Deleting your account

You may delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete account. Your account, Giwoon, subscription, Codex, and conversations are deleted and cannot be restored. Records we are required by law to retain are kept for the periods set out in the Privacy Policy.

12. Nature of the readings

GIWOON readings draw on traditional Korean Saju and are offered for reflection and entertainment. They do not replace professional medical, legal, financial, or career advice, and we are not responsible for decisions you make on the basis of them.

13. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for loss arising from causes outside our control, including acts of nature, your own acts or omissions, or failures of third-party networks. Where we are at fault and you could not use the service, we provide corresponding compensation.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. We will first try to resolve any dispute by agreement; failing that, jurisdiction lies with the court determined under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
